The Planet Earth is a gift to each and every one of us. This is an environmental education web site with plenty of Pictures of the Planet Earth.

Sacred Dance, Ceremonial Dance, Song, and prayer, Sweat Lodges, Environmental Action, Environmental Education, Species Extinction, EarthDance Ceremonies, Synchronous Events, Pollution Reports these are all part of the Earthkeeper’s life.

The power of ideas and the power of spiritual involvement with the natural environment move the heart. Earthkeepers can influence the people by helping them to reconnect with the beauty of the Planet Earth. We encourage Environmental activism for preservation of our wildlands and conservation of our resources.

But to touch the heart, we cannot assault the mind. Each of us comes to our relationship with the Earth in our own way and time. Our hope is that through education and ceremony, we, as Earthkeepers, can keep the door open for those who have yet to find that relationship.

We do this by presenting different ways of relating to the Earth and different ways of thinking about our future. We also present information about how our current ideas and ways we relate to the Planet Earth will affect our children and grandchildren.

“There are many with the knowledge of Earthkeepers, but there are few with the hearts of Earthkeepers. ”

“Christians talk about love, but they practice judgment.  New Age-ers talk about oneness, but they are the most divisive people I know.  And those who practice Native American ways are – often – like both.”

“This is not a right to pray this way.  It is a responsibility.”

“Each of us comes to our relationship with the Earth in our own way and time.”

“The Earthkeeper’s way involves us in the experiences of the Earth’s spiritual presence. It is a spiritual practice, not a religion.”

“Earthkeeper ceremonial practice is not just a sweat lodge or a drumming circle or a talking circle or a web of life council, or a medicine wheel ceremony or a pipe ceremony. It is a way of life.”

“The power to change always lies in the present. Drumming, singing, dance all help to strip away the dark smoke of our illusion… it is the illusion of being in the past or future.”

“Many refer to the person who practices the way of the Sacred Pipe as a Pipe Carrier. This is like a title that bestows some sense of authority or greater personal spiritual power. As much as I would like that to be so, I have to tell you one thing before we proceed.  Over the last 25 years if there is only one thing I have learned it is that the Pipe Carries me!”
