Our friend, John Armbruster passed on January 22nd, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. Those of us who knew him well miss him sorely. I invite those who remember John to subscribe to this blog and add your memories, what you learned and shared with John, our friend. Over time, I will add some of his writings that I still have as well. If you have anything interesting to announce or discuss, either social, political, ecological or spiritual, please do.

Dear Friends,
I wish to thank Dave, Janisse, Tracy and Mark for working to re-establish theearthkeepers.com in its present form. In addition, thank you for including emails supporting Earth Dance in Baja California - Mexico, Arizona, and other sites on Turtle Island. We’ll be sending more notices your way in the future, Creator Willing.
During the short time I got to know John, I was impressed by his dedication to Mother Earth and his support for ceremony done in a good way. His writings and efforts remain inspirations to many supporters of Earth Dance, and we hope to stay in touch with his insights through this website.

A number of years ago,while doing ceremony with
John,in Valparaiso,Indiana: we were doing the
Shawl Dance,the energy was building,and all of a
sudden I could see our group of dancers as a large wheel of light interacting with other wheels of light both here on Earth, and in the
Universe….it was an awesome experience and has
since,stayed with me and given impetus to keep
prayers and ceremony going,in whatever way possible. In my own life, I continue to have
energy circles at my place of employment and any-
where else Creator provides the opportunity.

I was at the Dunes Spirit time with the shawl dance. Leaving the area was difficult because I did not want to leave. I know now why I had to leave early and have repeated many times in spirit time the honors we did and the wonders and places we visited. This will be with me in a positive way always.
Shahunkaha spoke that night. I may be wrong on spelling but know what I saw and did.

Hello! I would like to thank you in all sincerity for sharing your work with the world. I have been working with a group of healers weekly, and the information that we have been receiving has been alarming. A lot of it has been related to the future of this planet, drastic earth shifts, and fear vibrations that have been created within the world that are pentrating the planet. Somehow, I was lead to this website last week, and I wanted to make sure that I shared it with you, so that you were aware. It is www.firethegrid.com/. Shelly, the woman who has created this website, has been channelling similiar information. There will be a worldwide meditation on July 17th at 7:11am, southeastern time, where people will be sending their love to the earth with the intention of healing it and creating higher vibrations of love. It is my intention to assist in causing something miraculous for the sake of our children and our planet.
I hope that this information finds you well, and I thank you again for sharing yourself with the world, and with me. I hope to connect with you on July 17th for the sake of humanity and future of our planet.

I thank John for starting Encampment, where I met some incredibly beautiful people, shared some magical and hilarious moments, and have many special memories.

My Uncle Duke Schmallo was an Medicine Man and much much more his native American Name was “Joseph Duke Big Feather” I believe that is correct!!!

I am glad to see Mark is still maintaining a site in remembrance of John. As always, January 22nd is a day when I sit in remembrance of John and all he was to this planet. I know he is doing much greater work assisting us daily from the other side. We miss him his impish funny way and his beautiful voice.
